One thing we (The Dawes) have never been shy about, is that we are still learning (and are always willing to). While we both have had an outdoor background in our lives, we haven't always focused on protection from the sun OR insect prevention. The dining table was littered with coffee cups full of varying amounts of coffee. The mugs ranged from empty to only a sip or two missing: undoubtedly left to grow cold to tend to a child. The floor was scattered with sippy cups of various brands filled with juice, water, and milk. I'm depressed. It feels weird to say that, and definitely to write it to strangers and the multitudes of people that will read it, most of whom I'll never know. The truth is, I don't like to share when I'm struggling. I've been doing the things that normally help me.
